A 2-bed COVID-19 Isolation Unit has been constructed for the hospital under the Christian Health Association of Ghana’s (CHAG) COVID-19 Response and Institutional Capacity Building (CRIB) Project.

The project is funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). The unit was inaugurated by the Development Director of FCDO in Ghana, Beth Cadman. She was joined by the Health Adviser, Uzo Gilpin, and a CHAG team led by the Executive Director, Dr. Peter Yeboah.

Also present at the inauguration were representatives of the Omanhene of the Hwidiem Traditional Area, and the Management and Staff of the hospital.
